What are you doing in Birmingham? Is there something awesome going on that I don’t know about?
Edit: It’s a LeMons race this weekend.

It’s Birmingham, Alabama, not UK, mate.

I’m so sorry!
J/K — from what I saw of the downtown it seemed quite sleepy. I was there for a week for work a few years back.

Who names their town “Shuttlesworth” ? Prize Corgi, sure, because they have no shame, but your whole town has to admit to sounding like a stuffy 19th century butler?
/rhetorical, but made me chuckle

You know you live in Birmingham when you wonder why someone would ever want to come here.

Technically that’s just the name of the airport

It was a lame comment on my part, so of course there’s a totally cool backstory to make me feel worse about the lameness of my joke...
Turns out Fred Shuttlesworth was totally a cool dude who deserves to have an airport named after him in his hometown for his lifelong efforts for civil rights and racial harmony.

Yep. I was just guessing that you didn’t want a history lesson. (The airport is pretty nice though)
